The Miami Dolphins signed quarterback Brady Quinn as an insurance policy since their two main backups are currently injured.
The Miami Dolphins are somewhat concerned with their quarterback situation beyond starter Ryan Tannehill since Matt Moore and Pat Devlin are both injured at the moment.
They decided to sign journeyman quarterback Brady Quinn, who has failed to live up to expectations since being drafted in the first round in 2007.
The former Notre Dame quarterback was last seen as the backup for the St. Louis Rams after Sam Bradford had a season-ending ACL tear.
Here is a tweet from NFL Network reporter Jeff Darlington, who confirmed the news.
QB Brady Quinn has signed with the Miami Dolphins, sources tell me.
