LeBron James finishes with 30 as the Heat roll on.
The Miami Heat defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 111-89 at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Friday night, leading by double figures for most of the game.
LeBron James led the way in scoring with 30 points, he also had six assists and five rebounds with the win taking Miami to 33-14 for the season as they continue to dominate at home.
Erik Spoelstra was without Chris Bosh and Ray Allen for this one, with both men out with the flu. Despite suffering from the same flu-like symptoms, Dwyane Wade played his part after finishing with 20 points.
However, it is LeBron who makes the headlines again, after tying a franchise record with his fourth straight 30-point game, and he is now 72.9% shooting from the field in the last four games.
Aside from the MVP’s contribution, the Heat opened the floor up well, allowing the likes of Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers to knock down 3s as they ran away with the game.
The Clippers will want to move on from this quickly, with Blake Griffin and Chris Paul returning from injury they will hope to build on their 35-17 start to the season.
However, it doesn’t get any easier as they prepare to face the New York Knicks at the Garden on Sunday, while Miami now prepare for the visit of the LA Lakers.
