Premier League referee Mike Dean clearly loves his job.
The Wirral-based official went viral online at the start of the week, as his hand signals to award Mousa Dembele’s goal in Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa were so enthusiastic that it almost looked like he was celebrating.

Dean was back in the fun zone on Saturday, when he took charge of Manchester United’s 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
United’s victory came courtesy of second-half goals from Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata.
Lingard broke the deadlock on 52 minutes, before Mata scored from the penalty spot in stoppage time.

United’s late penalty was awarded for a foul by West Brom defender Gareth McAuley on Anthony Martial.
As usual, Dean looked the business as he pointed to the spot. He also looked very excited as he reached into his back pocket to find the red card which he then awarded to McAuley, who was judged to have denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Mata’s finish was emphatic and it gave United their biggest margin of victory in six games.
United had previously found the net just twice in their last five matches, so two goals in one game was a veritable treat for the Old Trafford faithful, many of whom had become frustrated at the lack of entertainment witnessed in recent weeks.
