Italian side AC Milan look to be closing in on a deal to sign Chelsea striker Fernando Torres on a two-year deal after his agent revealed talks between the two had gone well, according to the Metro.

The Chelsea striker is reported to have agreed a two-year deal with the Rossoneri, with the Blues believed to have accepted a £10m bid, having rejected Milan’s original offer of a loan move.
“The meeting has been positive. Torres at Milan is a possibility,” said the Spaniard’s agent, Antonio Sanz.
“We will take time to reflect before giving an answer. Milan are a great side.”
However, there has been a bump in the road holding up the deal as the club struggle to come to terms with the player’s wage demands.
The Blues may also be reluctant to let go of him, too, as new boy Diego Costa faces up to six weeks out with a hamstring injury.
Should the deal go through, though, it could free Jose Mourinho up to make a move for Roma forward Mattia Destro.
