Worst team in the NBA hit with more bad news.
John Henson, one of the few bright spots in a dismal season for the NBA-worst Milwaukee Bucks, has been sidelined for at least two weeks with a sprained left ankle.
Bucks coach Larry Drew said Henson, a 23-year-old power forward who leads the team with 8.0 rebounds a game, will not join the club on a road trip to face the Los Angeles Lakers, Utah and Phoenix.
Henson, who has averaged 12.4 points a game, also ranks fifth in the NBA with 2.25 blocked shots a game.
Henson has been struggling since suffering the injury December 20 against Cleveland. He is wearing a walking boot and will be re-evaluated when the Bucks return to Milwaukee on January 7.
The Bucks have lost eight of their past nine games and are an NBA-worst 6-24.
Larry Sanders, who missed 25 games with a broken thumb before returning last week, will replace Henson in the lineup.
