Over the weekend, Vikings DT Tom Johnson was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct, but he was back at practice this past Tuesday.
“Business as usual,” Johnson said, via Master Tesfatsion of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “For me, I just feel like people in authority should be accountable,” Johnson said repeatedly. “If they do something negligent, they should be accountable just like anyone else.”
Johnson was arrested early Sunday after security officials and police repeatedly told him to leave Seven steakhouse. He was charged with misdemeanor counts of trespassing and disorderly conduct.
David Koch, the manager at Seven since its opening in 2007, said he had seen the police report and talked with Minneapolis police and restaurant security since the incident.
Johnson, Koch said, was waiting in a booth near the front of the restaurant to get his car from the restaurant’s valet service after it closed at 2 a.m., and was not aware he was required to wait for his car outside the establishment.
In four NFL seasons with the Saints and Vikings, Johnson has 7 career sacks.
