DT Linval Joseph returned to the Vikings for practice just two days after being accidentally shot at a bar in Minneapolis.
On Monday, Vikings DT Linval Joseph returned to practice a mere two days after being shot at a bar in Minneapolis.
”Oh, my God, and thank God he’s OK,” Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said. ”He’s a terrific young man. He’s a good, good kid, and we have a lot of good kids on this football team.”
On Saturday Joseph was shot in the leg during a shooting at a Minneapolis bar. Thankfully, the bullet barely hit his leg, resulting in no serious damage.
”Life is precious,” LB Jasper Brinkley said. ”Glad to have him here, man.”
Joseph signed with the Vikings as a free agent in 2014. He signed a 5-year, $31.5 million contract after starting for four seasons with the New York Giants.
