Dane has been in the capital since 2005.
Unwanted Arsenal front man Nicklas Bendtner is set to finally complete his long-awaited switch to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt by the end of the week, says the Daily Mirror.
The lanky Denmark international has been at the Emirates for the past eight years now, although the 25-year-old has been shipped out on season-long loans for each of the previous two seasons, firstly to fellow Premier League side Sunderland in the 2011-12 campaign and then again last season, when he played for Italian champions Juventus.
However, neither of those two loan spells ended with Bendtner being offered a permanent deal to stay at those clubs, with the striker netting eight goals in 30 matches while at the Stadium of Light and then failing to hit the target at all in his ten matches while in Turin.
And now Bendtner looks on the verge of joining Frankfurt and so bringing down the curtain on his eight-year spell in north London in the process.
