8. The San Francisco Giants will not likely repeat
Although the Giants have always surprised in their World Series championships, it appears that being in an odd year will bring them another World Series hangover. Their pitching has struggled so far, and even ace Madison Bumgarner had a rough outing against the San Diego Padres as he allowed five runs in three innings.
