AS Roma are close to securing Chelsea’s Mohamed Salah on a season-long loan for the 2015-16 campaign in a deal worth €2m (£1.4m), according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Di Marzio states that negotiations are currently underway, and claims that the loan agreement will include the option for the Serie A outfit to purchase the Egypt international outright for €20m (£14.1m) next summer.
His report suggests that discussions are developing steadily, and an announcement could therefore be expected within the coming days.
