Mariners complete their quota
Kenyan forward Harrison Eric Muranda is the latest African talent to make the move to Mohun Bagan.
Muranda is the third African to sign for The Mariners, with Nigerian duo Odafa Okolie and Anyichie Echezona also playing at the Salt Lake stadium this season.
Mohun Bagan managing director Anjan Mitra spoke to The Times of India, he said: ” His experience of playing in South East Asia, extensive trails, including assessing him as a player and also as a human being, (bonding with the rest of the Team) from August 22 and comprehensive medical tests (including his health and fitness level), were all taken into consideration.”
Japanese Midfielder Katsumi Yusa completes the quota as the only non African foreign signing for the Kolkata Giants.
