Moi Gomez is a young attacking midfielder who has opened eyes for Villarreal.
Liverpool need some serious help in the midfield following their crushing 3-1 loss to Man United. Luckily for the Reds, they may have their target all figured out.
According to the Express, Liverpool have targeted Villarreal attacking midfielder Moi Gomez as a transfer target in the January transfer window. The Express reported that the 21-year-old Gomez is valued at £4 million.
Liverpool struggled mightily at the midfield – an ongoing theme for the Reds since Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling departed – and were clobbered at Old Trafford en route to a 3-1 loss.
Since joining the Villarreal main team in 2011, Moi Gomez has 7 goals in 76 appearances. Gomez also has 3 caps and goal for the Spanish Under-21 team.
