Falcao has been on loan at Old Trafford this season, and though the club have an option to buy him permanently no decision has yet been made regarding his future.
However, there have been doubts that United will cough up the reported £40m to bring him on board, Vasilyev has told the press that there will be no shortage of suitors should the Premier League side decide against snapping him up.
“It will be a very important element [in Monaco’s summer transfer business], but I am not worried about him,” he said.
“We have received interest from other big clubs, as we await Manchester United’s decision.
“If we still had him we would be challenging at the top of the table. He started the season well and we are missing some efficiency upfront.
“But hey, that’s the way it goes. I am not worried for him or for us.
“For fair-play obviously, the less we spend, the better. It is important not to have big salaries.”
