Shaw was pictured leaving the Emirates Stadium at the weekend on crutches and it is more bad news for manager Louis van Gaal concerning fitness issues.
With so many players absent van Gaal will have a selection headache once again this weekend as the Red Devils host Hull City at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
With Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo also out there are no natural options for the Dutchman on the left side of defence and he may opt for a 3-5-2 formation once again as a result.
