Southampton star Margan Schneiderlin has given insight into just how short his fuse really is by admitting that he was sent off against Chelsea earlier this season because Cesc Fabregas was annoying him, according to the Metro.

However, as a long time target for Premier League rivals Arsenal, the Frenchman may be on the receiving end of some sympathy from Gunners fans.
“I got annoyed with Cesc Fabregas because he wouldn’t stop talking, he kept doing these little things,” he told French paper L’Equipe.
“He made me lose my head and, during one play, I forgot that I was already on a warning.
“I saw him go down the line and I thought that this was the moment to unleash a little challenge on him – something that I realise I did stupidly.”
The game back in December ended in a 1-1 draw and the France international’s dismissal came not long before the final whistle, meaning that he didn’t cost them any points in their quest to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
His frustrations that afternoon, though, is likely to be just a shred of what Arsenal fans feel every weekend as they watch their former golden boy habitually destroy other teams in the Premier League week in, week out.
And though it’s commendable that he can admit that he is not immune to these kind of rushes of blood to the head, he may want to think twice about opening up so freely in future as opponents could well use the information against him.
