HATERS GONNA HATE!
Some fans hate losing more than they love winning, and considering that only a select few clubs find themselves in and around the top of the Premier League table every year, it is no wonder that the elite clubs earn the lion’s share of football fans’ hatred.
The Mirror conducted a survey to find out which Premier League clubs football fans hated the most, and unsurprisingly, the six winningest clubs came out on top.
Here is the table of Premier League clubs ranked by how much, or little, they are hated.

2,000 football fans were asked to name all the Premier League clubs they hated. They were allowed to name as many teams as they wanted to…
20. Bournemouth, 9% hated
The Premier League first-timers are the most liked of all the top-flight clubs. That might soon change if they win as often as they did in the Championship last season.
19. Southampton, 11% hated
Teams hated having to go up against that Southampton defence last season, but only around one in 10 fans hate Ronald Koeman’s exciting crop of young talents.
18. Swansea City, 13% hated
The Swans can go toe-for-toe with almost anyone, as their opening-weekend draw with Chelsea indicated. Results like that bring with them both respect and jealousy.
17. Watford, 15% hated
Maybe once the Hornets start sacking managers at a rate of 10 a season then people will start disliking them more. At the moment, they’re one of the Premier League’s golden boys.
