Portuguese preparing for European Cup last-eight tie.
Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has refused to even talk about his future ahead of Los Blancos’ Champions League quarter-final first leg with Galatasaray at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Speculation has been rife of late linking the Portuguese with a stunning return to former club Chelsea, who he left after being sacked by the West London club’s owner Roman Abramovich in 2007.
However, the ‘Special One’ says that he is only concentrating on his current employers in the Spanish capital and making sure that they overcome the Turkish champions over two legs for a place in the semi-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.
“I’m not important. The important thing is the results for Real Madrid, not me or my future,” said Mourinho in his pre-match press conference.
“I only want to help the club fulfil their objectives.”
