Portuguese and La Roja skipper have had their differences this campaign.
Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has taken yet another swipe at goalkeeper Iker Casillas, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The pair have not seen eye to eye all season long, with the Portuguese trainer even dropping the legendary Madrid captain from the starting XI earlier this season.
And, after the Spain international had won his place back in the side, the 31-year-old then suffered a broken finger in his hand resulting in Mourinho bringing experienced Sevilla keeper Diego Lopez to the Santiago Bernabeu as cover for Casillas.
However, the duo have since fallen out once again over Mourinho’s refusal to recall the Spaniard to the Madrid team, despite Casillas having fully recovered from his injury, and now the ‘Special One’ has hit out at the shot stopper, criticising the player’s attitude.
Casillas has played in 654 matches for Los Blancos to date in an illustrious 14-year career in the Spanish capital.
“Problems exist when someone thinks he is above the rest,” said Mourinho.
“With players who feel they are all at the same level I have no problem.”
