Cavani looks unlikely to make Stamford Bridge switch after Blues take tough stance.
Chelsea will not be increasing their offer for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani after Napoli rejected a €52m (£44.2m) bid from the Blues, reports Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
The Blues reportedly made the bid for the Uruguayan international on Friday but Palmeri claims the Serie A outfit have rejected the offer, with the west London outfit now unwilling to increase it any further.

Cavani has established himself as one of the most coveted strikers in Europe, after bagging 29 goals in just 34 Serie A appearances this season.
The 26-year-old reportedly has a release clause of £53m, with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Manchester City also interested in the former Palermo striker.
New Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a new forward this summer, after disappointing campaigns for both Demba Ba and Fernando Torres in west London.
Cavani recently said it would be a ‘pleasure’ to play for the Portuguese but his father, Luis, has claimed his son is set to join Real.
