Nathan Cleverly’s rematch with Tony Bellew will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office on November 22, but fans will also be treated to a huge undercard.
Bellew will be looking to avenge the loss he suffered to his rival back in their first bout in 2011, and he has made no secret of his hatred for his Welsh opponent after being denied the opportunity of an immediate rematch.
The Merseysider insists that Cleverly broke a post-fight promise and was disrespectful towards him thereafter, and as a result, the rivals have genuine bad blood between them.
While the Echo Arena is expected to be a sell out, promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that the fight will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office, and fans will not be disappointed based on the undercard that he is offering.
Scott Quigg will defend his WBA World Super Bantamweight title for the fifth time against an opponent to be named soon, while Jamie McDonnell will defend his WBA World Bantamweight title against Walberto Ramos, with the winner going on to face WBO champion Tomoki Kameda in a unification fight.
In the heavyweight division, Anthony Joshua will face British rival Michael Sprott, while unbeaten star Callum Smith faces Nikola Sjekloca in an official eliminator for the WBC Super Middleweight title.
James DeGale and Stephen Smith are also expected to feature on the night although their opponents have yet to be named.
Nevertheless, with such a wide range of fights on offer and some great names in action, November 22 promises to be another hugely successful night for British boxing with Cleverly and Bellew headlining to end their rivalry once and for all.
