3] Kawhi Leonard – San Antonio Spurs
The reigning NBA Finals MVP needs to secure his future with the franchise this summer, but there is no denying that the Spurs see him as the focal point around which they will build around in years to come.
The 23-year-old will see his importance increase as the likes of Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili call time on their glittering careers, and so Leonard won’t have long to wait before his numbers make him a lock for All-Star selection.
However, he will need to stay healthy as he would arguably be involved this year had he not missed significant playing time with injuries.
Leonard averages 15.6 points, 2.4 assists and 7.9 rebounds per game this year, all up on his career stats, and he will continue to climb the ladder and establish himself as one of the best players in the NBA.
