The Knicks lost 101-83 to the Cavaliers on Sunday, which extended their losing streak to seven games while leaving them with the worst record overall in the NBA at 10-45.
Having fallen behind early in the first quarter, the game was never a contest as a depleted Knicks team had no answer to their rivals having traded away key players while Carmelo Anthony will miss the rest of the season after knee surgery.
However, Jackson was still frustrated with the loss and believes that the team can still show effort and desire to win even in these tough times otherwise it will be an embarrassing end to the year.
Each NBA game is an opportunity for players to show their "best" nature and please the basketball gods…and those who know what
"It"takes.

It has been a nightmare season for Jackson and the Knicks in general, and the team president has insisted throughout the process that he wants fans to blame him for their failure rather than rookie coach Derek Fisher or the players.
Having traded Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton before the season, the Knicks also moved JR Smith and Iman Shumpert on to the Cavs, and the duo linked up beautifully for a highlight play on Sunday.
While others have also departed and more are expected to do so at the end of the season, Jackson will have a huge task on his hands to rebuild the roster ahead of next year to ensure that the Knicks have a competitive team.
