Parker experienced tightness in his right Achilles tendon during Game 2 on Wednesday night and left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return.
The Spurs point guard had just one point in nearly 30 minutes after missing all six of his attempts from the field, although he was able to dish out five assists to go with a steal.
While Patty Mills was able to step in and help San Antonio to the win, Parker is a big loss despite his struggles and coach Gregg Popovich will be hopeful that it is not an issue that will linger on in the series.
The French star was already suffering from injury woes with a twisted left ankle and bruised thigh, and so the problems continue to pile up for him at a critical time of the season.
Popovich was unable to give an update on his condition while Tim Duncan conceded that he was concerned about him, but the pair both know that if he is able to play after getting treatment for the next two days, he will be out on the court to help his teammates.
San Antonio secured an important road win in Los Angeles in Game 2 as Duncan rolled back the clock with a vintage performance to put up 28 points and 11 rebounds.
However, after logging 44 minutes in the game it remains to be seen how fresh he will be for the next outing as the series switches to San Antonio for a crucial clash in what is undoubtedly the pick of the opening round of the playoffs.
