The Los Angeles Lakers are in a difficult position this month as although a win is generally always welcome, some fans want them to lose for Draft purposes.

The Lakers have a top-five protected first-round pick for this upcoming NBA Draft, but if they continue to win games down the final stretch of the regular season, they may well lose that pick to the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a previous trade deal.
As a result, Monday night’s overtime win over the Sixers didn’t sit well with certain fans as Jordan Clarkson put on an impressive display to secure a 113-111 win which included a game-winning lay-up with 0.7 seconds remaining in the game.
The majority of Lakers fans are already looking ahead to next season after rebuilding in free agency this summer, and although any win is welcome after such a miserable season, some weren’t happy about it.
Byron Scott’s men moved to 20-53 for the season after their latest win, and although they still have the fourth-worst record in the league, a few more wins could have the fans asking more questions about what the strategy is.
