The 39-year-old helped the Heat win two NBA titles before LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, so Allen has been rumored to be interested in reuniting with LeBron.
However, it has been reported that Allen will not sign with the Cavaliers if he returns to the court.
Brian Windhorst of ESPN Cleveland confirmed Allen’s intentions on Twitter.
Windhorst: “Ray Allen is not gonna sign with the Cavs. I don’t think he’s gonna play. If he decides he wants to, it won’t be with the Cavs.”
