Historically, the Celtics have been a stalwart of the Eastern Conference and despite key departures this past summer, they have bounced back impressively.
Rookie coach Brad Stevens is doing a great job, and without Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce they appear to have moved on and found some exciting pieces, with perhaps more to come in future drafts.
Rajon Rondo is expected to return in January, and with a quicker and more athletic team around him, it could spell trouble for their rivals.
