The NBA playoff race went down to the wire in the 2014/15 regular season finale on Wednesday night, with several positions and places still up for grabs on the closing night.
What was for certain was that the Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors would be the top seeds in their respective Conferences, although their opposition in the first round was still unknown heading into the schedule on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, there was movement below as the Chicago Bulls moved up into third spot which means they will face the Milwaukee Bucks in the opening round of the post-season while the Toronto Raptors slip to fourth and will now take on the Washington Wizards.
That in turn potentially sets up a fascinating Conference semi-finals between the Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers if they both come through the first round.
Over in the West, there was significant change all round as the New Orleans Pelicans grabbed the eighth and final playoff spot to set up a clash with the Warriors, while the rest of the match-ups look as incredible as expected given the strength in depth that the teams have.
Arguably the pick of the bunch is a first-round clash between the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs.
It is bitterly difficult to pick the winners from each series at this early stage, but all 16 remaining teams will now start afresh and harbour hopes of winning an NBA championship this year.
