The speculation continues this week as a new report has suggested that Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is frustrated with Kevin Love for not fitting in.

Love has made the headlines on a number of occasions this season for his comments off the court, having previously revealed that he isn’t entirely happy with his role, he and LeBron aren’t best friends and that he would pick Russell Westbrook to win the MVP award.
While some consider his comments merely truthful rather than the robotic answers that reporters get from players across the league, they are also causing controversy as it appears as though all isn’t well within the Cleveland camp.
With the 26-year-old having the option to opt out this summer and become an unrestricted free agent, many are questioning whether or not he plays for the Cavs for longer than just one season.
“Love is viewed by some as an aloof player who alienated teammates in Minnesota and is now doing the same in Cleveland,” Frank Isola of the New York Daily News wrote.
“Several sources close to the situation in Cleveland claim that James has tried to make it work but that he’s frustrated by Love’s inability, and in some ways unwillingness, to get with the program.”
Much has happened in less than year in Cleveland, and it is clear that it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Love in his new environment as the impact of social media has also led to questions being asked of his relationship with the team, and particularly James.
However, it is generally accepted that if the Cavs win a championship this year, then their problems will disappear as the players don’t necessarily have to be the best of friends off the court to triumph on it.
If Love still isn’t content with his role and his position in Cleveland, then it seems practical that he would at least listen to pitches this summer and consider the possibility of moving on where he would be a better fit and would be a lot happier with his role.
