The NCAA Tournament 2015 has reached the Final Four stage with Kentucky set to face Wisconsin while Duke will take on Michigan State.
After a thrilling fortnight of basketball so far, the favourites Kentucky remain in pole position to complete the season unbeaten after they saw off Notre Dame 68-66 in a close encounter.
However, John Calipari’s men will arguably appreciate finally being tested and showed their grit and determination to advance and that has been rewarded with a clash with fellow top seed Wisconsin.
The Badgers have undoubtedly had the tougher route to the final four stage, but they have found a way to win on every occasion after defeating the likes of Oregon, North Carolina and Arizona.
Now they must prepare for their toughest test of the tournament so far, with the Wildcats waiting for them on Saturday.
Meanwhile, a look at the other side of the bracket will reveal that we have had at least one major shock with seventh seed Michigan State making it through at the expense of Louisville in a thrilling Elite Eight clash.
Michigan State sealed an overtime win in the East Regional final with coach Tom Izzo defying the odds once again much to the joy of their fans, friends and family.
The Spartans have now beaten No.2 seed Virginia, No.3 seed Oklahoma and a No.4 in Louisville to reach this stage, and so they will fancy their chances of causing another upset on Saturday.
They face Duke as coach Mike Krzyzewski secured his 12th visit to the Final Four with his youngest team ever as he has started a trio of freshman through the tournament and will hope to pick up two more wins to take the likes of Jahlil Okafor all the way.
