With the NCAA tournament upon us, we take a closer look at five top prospects set to continue to make their name and emerge as top NBA draft prospects.
Kansas freshman center Joel Embiid will miss the opening weekend of the tournament, as confirmed by his coach Bill Self this week, and while he is still touted as a potential No.1 overall pick in the NBA draft this year, we have looked elsewhere to players who will likely feature throughout.
While most teams will already be aware of which prospects they are looking to draft well in advance of this year’s March Madness, it does represent an opportunity for many others to increase their chances of a high pick.
Honourable mentions go to the likes of Rodney Hood, James Young, Gary Harris and Aaron Gordon, but here are five players to watch out for over the coming weeks.
