Despite the loss to Baylor, the TCU Horned Frogs might have the most impressive overall performance record of any Big XII team.

The new College Football Playoff polls have been released with several controversial changes in positioning and one very surprising team making its debut in the final four.
Trevone Boykin’s stellar performance against Kansas State and all-around Big XII dominance has earned the Horned Frogs the nod over Baylor, Alabama, Arizona State and Ohio State for the coveted 4th spot in the college football playoffs. Meanwhile, Oregon’s strong performance over the entire Pac-12 conference – earning a trip to the Pac-12 title with several weeks left to go – earned it the #2 spot in the latest College Football Playoff poll.
Florida State dropped to #3 after two straight weeks in the #2 spot, and Alabama, which was expected by many to move into the polls after Auburn fell out, stayed put at #5. Of the Power Five conferences – SEC, Pac-12, Big XII, Big 10 and ACC – the Big 10 were the big snub this week, with Ohio State rising from #14 to #8, but not into the top 4.
