The New England Patriots have put together an overall impressive performance defensively, and things will only get easier for them from here on out.
Cornerback Brandon Browner, who served a four-game suspension for a substance abuse violation, has been activated by the Patriots. Browner was signed to a three-year contract this offseason after leaving the Seattle Seahawks.
Browner was a vital part of the Seahawks secondary, also known as the Legion of Boom. However, he was out for the second half of the season and the playoffs with a groin injury. Him lining up next to Darrelle Revis will give the Patriots a fearsome duo at cornerback though.
Here is a tweet from the NFL Access Twitter account announcing the cornerback’s return to the team.
