The Seattle Seahawks will play the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 49 as they look to repeat as champions.
They have continued with their brash personas as cornerback Jeremy Lane said that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is “not that good.”
However, the Patriots are choosing to express themselves differently as the big day approaches. Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork paid Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch the ultimate compliment.
“He’s hands down the best back in the game because he can hurt you anytime he has the ball in his hands,” Wilfork said to NFL.com.
Lynch steamrolled the Green Bay Packers defense for 157 rushing yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, and he made his touchdown count in the fourth quarter as it gave the Seahawks their first lead of the game.
Wilfork has been to five Pro Bowls and helped the Patriots win their third Super Bowl in 2004. He will look to prove that Lynch can be stopped in the upcoming Super Bowl.
