Man United manager to challenge Arsenal and Chelsea for the signature of Bayern Munich hitman Mario Mandzukic…
New Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal certainly knows about the huge burden of expectations that will accompany his new job, and he understands that landing marquee signings this summer could be the first step to fulfilling them.
Reports in The Daily Mail have revealed that the Dutchman is already considering making a move for Bayern Munich star Mario Mandzukic.
Mandzukic is reported to be at odds with manager Pep Guardiola currently, and various tabloids understand that he may be on the verge of an exit from the Allianz Arena following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund.
The Croatian though did have an excellent season in Germany, scoring 26 goals in 48 games in all competitions and United will have to compete with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal to land him this summer with both London clubs having got a bit of a headstart in the chase for his signature.
