The Saints defense had a forgettable season as it cost the team many games with their 31st-ranked total defense and 28th-ranked scoring defense, which allowed 26.5 points per game.
The team finished with a 7-9 record after being considered Super Bowl frontrunners, but Haralson was able to play all 16 games while finishing with 35 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
