New Orleans Saints CB Brian Dixon was arrested in Miami Beach on Sunday for resisting arrest while driving his moped.
According to Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate, Dixon was pulled over and questioned by the arresting officer, and then attempted to resist arrest non-violently.
An official at the correctional center said Dixon was pulled over for riding a moped and questioned the officer. He was then arrested.

It was unclear though exactly why Dixon was being arrested in the first place, as the only charge made against him was for the resistance. Regardless, with what will likely be a suspension incoming from the NFL after his arrest, the New Orleans Saints may be tempted to simply cut the reserve CB rather than waste a roster spot on a player who may miss a quarter or more of the 2015 season.

An undrafted free agent by the Saints in 2014, Dixon recorded 11 tackles on the season and a forced fumble in a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 5th.
