Running back DeAngelo Williams has been signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in an effort to add depth behind Le’Veon Bell, who missed the Steelers’ playoff loss.

The details of Williams’ contract have been revealed, and he will receive $4 million over two years.
Williams played with the Carolina Panthers for nine seasons and rushed for over 1,500 yards and 18 touchdowns before injuries affected his career.
He will have an opportunity to get involved in the Steelers offense right off the bat since Bell has been suspended two games for marijuana possession and driving under the influence.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport revealed the terms of Williams’ Steelers contract on Twitter.
