Where will Borussia Dortmund star move to this summer?
Manchester United have long been linked with the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski, but there is a twist in the potential deal.
According to an article in the Daily Telegraph, Lewandowski has the pick of a number of clubs this summer.
The story states that Manchester United are Lewandowski’s top choice, but he has concerns about how regularly he would play.
The Poland international striker is waiting to see if Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez are sold by the Red Devils this summer, though Sir Alex Ferguson is understandably reluctant to lose either.
Though Bayern Munich are considered next favourites after Manchester United to secure a deal for Lewandowski, the Telegraph state that he would prefer a move to the Premier League to sample English football, with Arsenal and Chelsea potential options if they stump up the cash.
Lewandowski’s goal record speaks for itself.
In 91 starts for Borussia Dortmund, he has scored an impressive 61 goals, including 23 in 26 Bundesliga starts and 6 in 9 in the UEFA Champions League this season.
He is a fine finisher with both his feet and head, and his movement in the box is up there with the best in the game.
Whichever team lands him this summer is sure to get a great player.
