The New York Giants hold a 4-0 preseason record, and they will look to finish with a perfect record in their preseason finale against the New England Patriots.
The New York Giants are undefeated in preseason play with a 4-0 record, and they will look to finish 5-0 in their preseason finale against the New England Patriots.
Quarterback Eli Manning will play along with the other Giants starters, which is unconventional to do in the preseason finale. Manning has struggled in the preseason though, so Tom Coughlin will want to make sure he can shake off the rust for good after having a respectable performance last week.
The offensive line has become a major concern once again since guards Geoff Schwartz and Brandon Mosley will be out with injuries. Rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will continue to nurse his hamstring injury.
The Giants are still looking for their starting tight end, and Adrien Robinson’s roster spot is not secure, especially after catching zero passes last week.
The Patriots will start rookie Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback, and he will look to solidify his status as the No. 2 quarterback after outplaying Ryan Mallett for much of the preseason.
Running back Stevan Ridley has been rumored to be on the roster bubble, so he will look to solidify his spot on the Patriots’ roster. Shane Vereen and James White will also continue to receive significant playing time.
