Knicks guard Shumpert being targeted by the Phoenix Suns.
Despite missing the majority of the season with a knee injury sustained in the play-offs last year, Iman Shumpert is reportedly a number one target for the Phoenix Suns.

Having made his comeback in London against the Detroit Pistons last month, Shumpert has gone on feature in all 12 games since.
In a team packed with such depth in the back-court, provided by the likes of Jason Kidd, Raymond Felton, J.R. Smith and Pablo Prigioni, reports have suggested that the Knicks might be willing to deal if the right offer arrives.
However, news from within the Knicks camp suggest they are unwilling to talk regarding Shumpert, with coach Mike Woodson making his feelings clear before the defeat to the Clippers on Sunday.
“That’s kind of out of my hands. If the owners came to me and said we have to do a deal, you do the deal. But I sat [Shumpert] down and I told him. He knows how I feel about him.”
While also revealing his daughter vehemently argued with him to keep Shumpert after the pair went to Georgia Tech together, to which he replied Shumpert would remain with him, Knicks star Carmelo Anthony also shared his opinion on the matter on Sunday stating: “He ain’t going anywhere. He ain’t got to worry about that.”
Shumpert reacted to the rumours by telling reporters he is just concentrating on his game, but he will hope both Carmelo and Woodson are right as he looks to remain in New York.
