The Warriors started brilliantly but had to hold off a fast-finishing Newcastle side.
Shaun Johnson was impressive for the Kiwis.
Manu Vatuvei lived up to his nickname with a beastly try.
But Dane Gagai wouldn’t be outdone and he scored a sensational solo effort.
Ben Matalino was awarded a try but he was quite lucky to have it given.
The Knights hadn’t thrown in the towel though, Akila Uate with a qualiy finish.
Solomona Kata then stepped up with his own piece of skill.
But still the Warriors couldn’t shake the Knights. James McManus kept them in it.
Johnson’s kicking game was proving the difference and he set up another try.
Uatee’s powerful second try cut the Warriors lead to four points but it wasn’t enough.
The Knights had showed fight but their losing run continues.
