Toon have already agreed deal with QPR.
Newcastle can sign on-loan striker Loic Remy for just £6m in January, according to the Daily Mirror.
The QPR striker is currently enjoying a season-loan stay at St James’ Park but the Toon have already agree a fee with the Championship outfit.
Remy, 26, has shot to the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with five goals in his past three matches and Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is keen to tie the France international down.
The former Marseille forward has publicly kept his options open and Pardew fears that a club playing in Europe could steal a marge on the Magpies if Remy does not commit as soon as the transfer window re-opens in the New Year.
