Swansea City’s stock in the Premier League is on the rise after a splendid draw against Chelsea and that’s due in a large part to Monk’s tough, commanding style with leadership beyond his 36 years. Still, he needs more experience before being considered a leading contender for the England hot-seat.
7. Jose Mourinho
He’s the best coach in the Premier League and arguably the best manager in Europe, but he isn’t leaving Stamford Bridge anytime soon. Plus, his massive salary demands and tendency to stir up controversy will likely scare the Football Association away. But hey, an Englishman can dream.
