If Brendan Rodgers wasn’t already under pressure as Liverpool manager, her certainly is now following Sunday’s 6-1 hammering at Stoke City – a result which saw the Reds finish sixth in the Premier League.
After that shattering loss at the Britannia Stadium, Rodgers, who described his side’s performance as embarrassing, admitted that his future at Anfield is now uncertain.
He told BBC Sport: “I’ve always said if the owners want me to go, then I go.”
