Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has refused to divulge into speculation surrounding Manchester United’s reported interest in signing star striker Neymar.
The Sun on Saturday reported the Red Devils had held ‘secret’ talks with the Catalan giants over the possibility of signing the former Santos man.
United boss Louis van Gaal is keen to bolster his front third after Chelsea swooped late to sign Barcelona winger Pedro.
Van Gaal also lost Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao over the summer, while Wayne Rooney has struggled to make an impact so far this season.
Though it seems unlikely Neymar will make the move to Old Trafford this summer, Enrique was not keen to discuss the Brazilian’s future.
“Talking about Neymar and other clubs doesn’t interest me,” Enrique is quoted as saying by Daily Express.
“I don’t talk about rumours. I focus on what happens in my team.”
Neymar has scored 31 goals in 59 La Liga appearances for Barcelona since joining the Catalan club in a €57.1m deal in 2013.
