The NFL announced its three players of the week in the NFC for Week 15 of the 2014 NFL season.
Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week, Detroit Lions Safety Glover Quin was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and Arizona Cardinals Kicker Chandler Catanzaro was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Bryant torched the Philadelphia Eagles secondary for three TD catches en route to a critical 38-27 win for the Dallas Cowboys, which included six catches for 114 yards. Bryant currently leads the NFL with 13 TD catches and is 10th in the league in receiving yards.
Quin won the award after his interception helped seal the Lions’ win over the Minnesota Vikings. He has six INTs this year, which is tied for the league lead. Last week’s came when his team was trailing 14-0, and helped propel them to their only touchdown of the day.
Catanzaro was a perfect 4-for-4 on the day, recording the Cardinals’ only points en route to their 12-6 win over the St. Louis Rams that helped the team clinch a playoff spot several days later.
