His philosophy on fining players has also led people to label him a hypocrite. He did nothing to hush his critics when he declined a Super Bowl 49 interview.
Goodell has fined Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch multiple times for refusing to speak with the media, but he was unable to practice what he preaches.
Sporting News reported on Goodell’s refusal to speak with the media on Twitter.
