5. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys defense may be catching a break with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers not being expected to be 100 percent healthy with an injured calf. However, Rodgers will still be tough to stop. The Cowboys offense will give the Packers defense a huge challenge though as they were able to prevail with 24 points over an elite Detroit Lions defense. Quarterback Tony Romo shook a monkey off his back by coming through in the clutch after rallying from a 13-point deficit to win the second playoff game of his career.
Running back DeMarco Murray and wide receiver Dez Bryant also make the Cowboys offense what it is, and they may be a Super Bowl dark horse if they can get past the Packers. If any team can beat the Packers, who finished 8-0 at home, it’s the Cowboys. They finished 8-0 on the road and beat the Seahawks in Seattle, so this will mark the first NFL playoff matchup between an 8-0 road and 8-0 home team in history.
