Miami running back Duke Johnson played his last game as a Hurricane in a bowl loss to South Carolina as he will be entering the NFL draft.
The junior running back rushed for 132 yards on 24 carries before suffering an ankle injury that may have very well sunk the Hurricanes’ chances of winning.
Johnson was considered a dark horse Heisman candidate before the season, and he lived up to his hype with 1,652 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
ESPN National College Football reporter Joe Schad announced Johnson’s decision on Twitter.
