The NFL is the most popular sports market in the United States as they averaged 17.6 million viewers per game, and they have made efforts to expand their viewership across the world as three games are played in London, England every year.

The league just revealed big plans to travel to other countries of the world. These include Mexico, Brazil, China and Germany.
This is an even bigger development for NFL international play since they had announced their intentions to have the Pro Bowl played in Brazil in 2017.
In addition to hosting games in other countries across the world, the NFL is hoping to expand itself by having a new team that plays in London by 2022.
London will host a game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets in Week 4 to start the 2015 international schedule.
Germany already has NFL Europe teams with players who have used that opportunity to jumpstart their American NFL careers, so these rumors are sure to keep heating up.
